“Out of sight out of mind” is the reality for many goals set with high expectations in a conference room at the beginning of the year. It is even more so for the goals that criss-cross yours. Once you have set the goals, the real work begins—not just in working toward the goals, but in keeping focused. If you have picked a limited number of meaningful goals, this shouldn’t be hard. If you have picked too many or they lack relevance, your focus is sure to wander before the ink is dry on your goal document.
