By reacting to others’ need for inclusion and information by drawing more distinct lines in your sandbox, you may let fewer and fewer people in and become less forthcoming about decisions and the decision-making process. What is gained in the speed of decision-making, can be lost on the implementation end because of the lack of ownership that exclusive decision-making can create.
